Cryptid #072 “I’m Not a Betting Man But…”
Class: Naiad
Procedures: Cryptid #072 is to be kept in the titanium safe located in Dr. █████████’s office. The safe is to be designed to release chlorine gas, if an incorrect passcode is input more than three times. The safe is to be checked every 12 hours. Experiments with #072 are only allowed with Dr. █████████’s permission. #072 is only to be used during a Flood-level event, or during experiments. #072 is not to flipped outside either of these circumstances.
Description: Cryptid #072 is an American silver dollar, manufactured in 1972. The object has the profile of President Eisenhower on one side, and the Philadelphia Liberty Bell on the other. When Cryptid #072 is flipped in the presence of two or more sentient beings who have all agreed verbally to a wager on the outcome of the coin toss, a severe surge of ambient Hume level is detected, and a shift in reality occurs. The winning party receives the item placed in the bet, whether or not the losing party had possession of said item. This extends to abstract concepts, like “freedom,” “love,” “revenge,” or “intelligence.” This effect also occurs with body parts, with the winning party gaining wagered organ or the repair of an organ which was failing. The losing party is not affected when losing a bet involving abstract concepts, unless it is directed towards them, but when losing a bet involving body parts, one of the two following scenarios will take place:

-
If a body part is wagered, the losing party’s corresponding body part vanishes and is attached to the winning party’s body (if the winning party is missing a limb, the wagered limb will appear where it normally is found, otherwise it is attached to a random location on the body)..
-
If health condition is wagered, and the sick party won the coin toss, the losing party will receive a weakened form of the illness or condition the winning party was in (i.e. losing the bet and then gaining Stage 2 lung cancer, or a fever, when the winning party had Stage 3 lung cancer, and malaria).
-
If health condition is wagered, and the sick party lost the coin toss, the losing party will have exacerbated symptoms of the illness (i.e. losing the bet and having the tumor quickly progress into Stage 4, or having heightened symptoms of malaria).
The anomalous effect only extends to objects which have been created by humanity, is commonly known of or widespread.
